Mechanical No.7 measures 5ft. wide, 3ft. tall, and weighs over 100lbs. It took almost 1000 hours to complete, and required a hindering amount of money in brass materials to make. After a year and a half it is finally complete! To accurately bring it to the eyes of as many people as possible, I've taken my time, rented professional photo equipment, and laid out this print for purchase. The image used for this 18 x 24 lithograph was an un-enlarged file that was over 7000 pixels wide! Anyone that's used a digital camera and sized up a digital file in photoshop will know that that's a huge amount of resolution right out of the camera. For a larger poster it's quite necessary. Print shops require 300 dpi for the best quality and detail, and I wanted all of the detail of this clock to show up nice and sharp.
I also needed a fitting background to present this piece. I set up an 8ft x 8ft wall in my garage, ordered wallpaper, and went to town sanding, oiling, tattering, and darkening.
Poster size: 18 x 24 - Full bleed.
Paper: 12 pt. Gloss Cardstock, 10% PCW recycled content, FSC certified, acid-free.
Prints will be sent in a 4 inch mailing tube. That's a larger diameter than normal, to ensure no kinking or irreversible bending will occur.
